Medieval Dynasty

Played this game for quite a while on Steam and am very glad to finally see it's console release. This is a city builder/town management type game with light survival mechanics. You'll be building a settlement and starting a new life for yourself after escaping war. It'll include raising crops, livestock, and ultimately a family. You are the overseer of your settlement and will have farmers, blacksmiths, tailors and such living and working within your village. This game is one of those types of games that many people find relaxing, as you hunt, gather resources, and tend to your village. I hope this proves to be a positive experience for Toplitz and they bring Wild West Dynasty over here as well. Medieval Dynasty is a well loved game on PC with a great community. Let's hope it continues here.

Heard him talk about having to pawn his cherry juice for fertilizer and had to give it a try. Games fun. slow burn and grindy. but fun.

This is a slow-build up type of game. You will be hungry, you will be thirsty, you will be poor. After the first year, you may have a few people in your town, but not many. They wont be skilled, and they have their own needs. Taxes suck, but not really. You have ample ability to make money by hunting, crafting, and prioritizing what your people do. Build 3 woodsheds, and 2 excavation sites. Build 10 houses and the worker areas. Know that this will skyrocket your taxes, which are due in the spring. When you notice how prices work, you notice that meat and simple crafted tools are easily produced and sell well. Also hunting bandits for coin and loot is not hard at all. You can change the difficulty and game options mid-play, which means you can turn off stamina, or get infinite carry weight. Really, if you set up your villagers well, you can sell firewood for a living, and slowly go from hunting to having a merchant empire. Clunky in a survival sandbox way, but fun and replayable too.
