Minute of Islands

The story was so interesting. The art style and dark undertones gave me some resemblance of adventure time.I should warn you that the game is not very long and it doesn't really have much replayability. Regardless I had a calm and relaxing experience and would recommend everyone try it out.

Have not seen anything quite as compelling quite in a while, often difficult to differentiate from other games w the similar formula as limbo/Inside and stand on their own being worth experiencing after a dozen+. Definate has a unique vibe as whimsical not shying away from being dark as well as haunting. Main character not really a generic do-gooder either. Definately a new experience i'll carry with me. don't often say that either

The hand drawn art & animations look great, reminds me of Adventure Time. However, the experience of 'playing' the title is a tedious exercise in frustration. It isn't fun, everything seems designed to just eat up as much of your time as possible as you wait for the long animation of your character crawling through a hole, their boat slowly moving across the screen at the start of each area, puzzles or tasks that are just drawn out for no reason. One puzzle early on in the game actually requires you to solve it, then unsolve it so you can get to back to the side of the room with the exit, then resolve the puzzle just to take more time. Traversal throughout the stages is annoying. You must bunny hop across and up little platforms in the right order to progress in a manner made to make it take longer. Then after you complete each island's tasks, you must backtrack through the entire thing again trying to find the obscure routes. I feel really sorry for the playtesters on this one...

Worth your time

The story was awesome and the art was beutiful, but the gameplay is SO slow. Why do I have to watch the same super long scene to crawl through a hole? Run should be default speed. So many S L O W cutscenes.
