NORCO
Raw Fury · Action & adventure
NORCO is a text-based point & click adventure that immerses the player in the sinking suburbs and industrial swamplands of an increasingly surreal and distorted South Louisiana.
Fantastic point and click experience.
Also be sure to pet the cat; I haven't laughed that hard in years.

Cool
As a resident of Norco, Louisiana, it was a pretty good game and I recognized most of the locations, (**** had me hyped btw)

Not a Morbius Review
I thought the game was good, definitely embodied the point and click formats of my youth with good puzzles and a intuitive tracking system for keeping up with the denizens in game and their experiences. Story is thought provoking and asks of its players to form your own opinions through introspection.

It's a cool game, bruh.
Very weird and at times creepy point and click with solid, sometimes hilarious writing (Leblanc's dialogue is gold and so is the Showgoer's story). The overall plot is pretty weird but entertaining and intriguing, with some powerful emotional moments near the end. Reminds me most of Kentucky Route Zero in terms of its bleak, melancholy atmosphere and themes of rot, decay, and abandonment, both in terms of people and places. There are some light problem solving/puzzle moments, but they're pretty simple, so puzzle fans will likely be let down. I hate puzzles, so that wasn't a problem for me. Also present is a barebones, turn based combat system that is so easy it's almost pointless. That said, there's probably fewer than ten fights in the entire 6 1/2 hours that it took me to complete the game, and each one is only a minute or two at most. The ending is also unsatisying and abrupt, but fans of surreal sci-fi and horror with some grounding in real world horrors will likely enjoy Norco.

SO FREAKING GOOD!! what the heck!!
It kind of reminded me of Disco Elysium and a little bit like some of the better old lucasarts adventures like The Dig. It's constantly changing up the gameplay with fresh cool ideas through the entire thing and the writing is breathtakingly good. There are some lines of dialogue in this game that are so freaking raw that I had to just sit with them for minutes at a time. Glad I gave this a shot :)
