Pacific Drive: Ritual Edition

Found out spamming the wipers on and off makes the car get a huge speed boost, im currently wrapped around a tree bc of how fast i was going, 10/10 game

I walked into a gas station with a large hill behind it. When I came out a minute later where the hill had been was a swampy forest and the road a few yards ahead had a dozen wooden mannequins out of nowhere. I enjoy the scavenging and crafting. They did a great job on the graphics and writing. Gameplay loop could potentially get stale if it wasn't for upgrades and stuff. Well done.

Don't know why but I can't get enough of this Station wagon

I bought this game when it originally came out on ps5 because i love the story it's based on (Roadside Picnic). Love the setting of bizarre American NW, and the gameplay loop of going out in your rad station wagon, dodging increasingly difficult anomalies, and shutting down rifts for materials is addictive! Also, escaping the alien storms is thrilling (and terrifying). Highly recommend if you like crafting, mild horror, and awesome setting/story!!!

I've already played and completed Pacific Drive back when it first released on Steam and I am here downloading it again if that is any indicator. Its a game that always seemed to pop back into my mind long after I stopped playing. A very unique traversal simulator with a station wagon that genuinely feels like a partner and friend in your endeavors across a unique and hostile landscape. The story and characters are interesting and I always wanted to do one more run for the next story beat or upgrade. Give it a shot if you want to play something fun and different and do mind the anomalies✌️
