Quern - Undying Thoughts

Been looking for something like this since finishing obduction and this was perfect. Use your phone to take pictures not the journal or your game will crash.

This game to me was like Myst on steroids, which I must say pales in comparison. Both the story and the puzzles are engaging, challenging, fun to unveil and solve. Level after level, when you think you’re close to the end, more “worlds” appear. Magnificent game!! More please!!

Did you love Myst and Riven game? Do you have an IQ of 145 or greater? This game is for you! This is an amazing puzzle game and story. I loved it more than Myst (it’s also a lot more beautiful even to newest Myst)…also a lot harder. All the solutions/information can be found in the game (except one requires knowledge of how a knight moves in chess). Clear your calendar, you’re in for a great time. I’m playing on Xbox One X in 2023 and I’ve experienced NO glitches or crashes.

I haven't experienced much glitches like what others have said but some of the solutions are so obscure it's nearly impossible to figure out on your own. Minor spoiler that i'll keep vague: There is a solution that requires pointing your crystal to the sky without any hints other than it is a thing that you could do, and that will grant access to a whole new area that is very difficult to see. Were you hoping that some people would just point it at the sky for no reason and be pleasantly surprised? I tried getting through this game with no hints from the internet but after 3 hours of wandering I felt defeated. Even just an arrow pointed upward would have been enough without any other context. This game had many great puzzles and some took me a really long time because i forgot to pickup an item but that one puzzle was bad

Keeps freezing and crashing.
