Ridge Racer 6

9.5/10 Wish they'd bring this series back... Xbox should write a check for a return!!

This was as good as the series ever got, just ahead of Type 4. It's better than RR7 cos it doesn't have the pointless car tuning or slipstreaming from that game. Superb music too (Sueno del Mar, Explorers). The circuits are brilliantly designed - all killer, no filler. Meaty singleplayer and great online. Best arcade racer ever made.

It's Ridge Racer, need I say more? It has some of the best music in the franchise, a decent amount of cars, and even the servers for online are still up! It's great value for your money!

For those who happened upon this game by circumstance: Welcome to the Ridge Universe. An addicting (or iterative, by perspective) championship where cars won by merit glide around corners at break-neck speeds, leaving trails of dust in their wake, awaits you. A competitive, fun, and occasionally whimsical online community does, too. You've finally arrived.

If you like me were on the store looking for a cheap game you will not be dissapoinnted. Especially if you like arcade racers with GOOD and WORKING multiplayer servers as of October 2024.
