SAMURAI SHODOWN (Standard Ver.)

SNK, the Rollback is silk. Now combine Playerbases for the Win 🏆⚔️

Had my eye on this since launch... I've seen it on sale twice in 5 years. Very balanced sale between base game and DLC content.. You've got DLC packs costing more than base game at the moment, and I'm very ok with that! This is a great sale and it needs done with more games. The game itself is really good too!

The game is simple and complex. Every match is full of tension and you understand why you lost. The game now has good rollback/online too, but good luck finding someone who plays this in 2025 and beyond. Catch it on sale with some friends and you won't be disappointed. Don't expect interesting single-player content it has the basics, Arcade, Survival, Practice, ect.

FINALLY getting a PROPER HD SS game is fantastic, but following the DLC content trend of milking fans is it's down fall. If you want to revitalize a good franchise with all it's likable roster, you have to deliver the goods. Hence the overall failure of Street Fighter 5 and how it wasn't even good for years. This game, however, has not seen the overarching success and is therefore almost suicide to think after all this time that people want to spend $100 on a game that has been inconsistant and almost MIA for over a decade. Instead of reinvigorating the smaller fanbase, they decide to pull off the cut content to trickle out and monetise later. NOBODY WANTS THIS. You revitalize the franchise by creating exitement, and I believe a robust roster right out the gate would have done that. Instead, you have a dwindling playerbase who doeasn't believe that spending that kind of money in the long run is worth their time or support. What was done here was shortsighted and killed initial sales.

Great game but online is ghost town
