Snow Squall

It was fun, a little janky, but fun. Also, it was very short, you can complete it in under 30 minutes. It was cool while it lasted. I got it for $8 ($2 off).

I don't mind when a game doesn't hold your hand, but I felt like I didn't understand the basic goals with this one. Frustration quit.

A retro style horror game with PS1 era graphics. The visuals and atmospherics are decent but unfortunately the game has some clunky object interactions that make moving key items a little annoying. Not much substance to the story and a short runtime (~30min- 1 hour). Easy Achievements If you want to try other horror themed games by the same publisher I would recommend trying Mothered and Enigma Machine. **Product Provided by Publisher**

That's how long my first play through was, without using a guide. I wanted to, but looking at the achievements and reading a few reviews left me with full confidence in my ability to figure it out for myself. I didn't want to, but I had a feeling I'd feel pretty dumb when I found out just how easy it was, and I was 100% right about that. Missed two achievements, and a third only possible on 2nd, or 1st with a guide, which I don't mind at all. Had so much fun that I'm going to jump back in and get it done right now, get the rest of those pop ups. This game is a steal on sale. Maybe worth closer to $5 than 10 for a regular price though, judging by the going rate of similar enough games in the genre. After you 100% this, you'll probably never play it again. Edit: Cases guide recommended for 2nd play through only. Unless you feel comfortable with wasting all that time on a feature literally designed only to waste all that time, then go for it! I got < 11m 100% 1st try, vroom!!!!

Very short game, janky little "puzzler" and although the plot had disturbing elements I wouldn't say it was scary. Interesting concept especially with the "death mechanic"
