SOMA
Frictional Games · Action & adventure
From the creators of Amnesia: The Dark Descent comes SOMA, a sci-fi horror game set below the waves of the Atlantic ocean. Struggle to survive a hostile world that will make you question your very existence.
I will keep this short. The game is absolutely a phenomenal pick for someone trying to get into the horror genre. If u are trying to do so, this is what u are looking for. It is not riddled with dumb jumpscares and has a very well written story to keep u invested. The horror often takes a backseat and lets the art design and voice acting shine. It has scares yes, but they are not often the forerunner. I hope this helps anyone thinking about picking it up.

Unforgettable!
I have played alot of games, games of all different genres. When I found this game on GamePass I didnot expect that much, but this game blew my mind. I have never played a game that is this immersive and well put together. The story was amazing, the best I have seen in a game ever. Thank you for making this unforgettable masterpiece of a game.

Incredible game
I never even knew about this game until it became available on Game Pass; it's probably one of the best games I've played in a while. If you're a fan of philosophy, particularly philosophy of mind, you will get a lot out of this game even when you aren't playing it. This game takes the ideas present in physicalism and makes you ask yourself the sorts of questions that Thomas Nagel wanted people to think about with his paper "What Is It Like to be a Bat?" Is there something that makes you, "you," something that isn't just physical, something that wouldn't be present in a symbol for symbol, atom by atom, copy of yourself? Which version would be the "real" you? Wouldn't that be subjective, wouldn't each version of "you" think it was the real version? There is also some stoic thinking to contemplate as well. Just a really outstanding game, very rarely do you get a game that makes you think about your life when you aren't even playing it. This game rocks.
