The game when played on a PC shows controls and hints for users of an Xbox controller, not the keyboard. So you have to experiment with the keyboard to see how to make it work. Example, at the beginning, it says to press "A" to continue. The letter "A" on the keyboard don't do anything. When you go to the Controls section from the main menu, it shows an Xbox controller and explains its controls. Nothing there for keyboard. Fun game, but it's a major fail to me for such an oversight. If it were updated to be correct for PC play and instruction, I'd give the game at least a 4 star. And at the very least, the developer should put in the game's description that it's made for Xbox Controller (even on PC) and provide the keyboard mappings for gameplay. What he should really do is update the game though and include proper control info for keyboards.

As I was looking across other indie games I came across this one. like most Xbox indie games I wasn't expecting much. However I was instantly hooked when I pressed start. The style is great for what the game is, the music is great, and the controls are amazingly tight and responsive. And it was all made in the free time over 365 days. It is the best indie game I have played in a long time.

NO CHECKPOINTS I WAS 1 PIXEL AWAY FROM BEATING LEVEL 1 THAN I HAD TO START THE WHOLE THING OVER!!!

I get it is supposed to be a hard game.But when I play it, the game design is the hardest part of it.The bosses would be fun but the lack of checkpoints and bad design make it infuriating.Please add a easier game mode.

I used to play this years ago and had a good time. I would recommend buying it if you want a cheap difficult platformer. Keep up the good work. Pretty good controls and mechanics. (P.S don't cry and break your controller if you die) Thanks for reading.
