Ok For what it is
TAAC is an ok game that has the same general gameplay loop. After getting your top three performers maxxed out, there isnt much wiggle room to start with a new squad of people, and it's a bit of an investment to level up your characters to finally be good. Almost beat the game and nothing has really changed much. Story exists, but isn't something to dive into, Gameplay gets repetative, scenery isn't much to look at, animation looks cheap and static, music plays the same 5 songs (if there are more, they sound the same), and the game is still buggy years after launch. Current bug making the game less than enjoyable is whenever I open the xbox menu, and go back to the game, inputs stop being recieved, meaning I have to start performances all over. Rating 2 stars because I know it's a poorly put together game but I like ****** games as long as they bring something new to the table. A circus card game with mechanics that work in a unique way was interesting and new. I wouldn't reccomend.

The Circus is in Town!
After inheriting your late father's circus, you have to learn to manage it in order to win a competition for being the best circus in the USA. Starting in the west, you work your way from city to city, performing shows to gain money for food, upgrades and taking care of the performers. As things progress, there will be lots of performers to choose from as only three are allowed per show. The shows are where the turn based card play comes in and is the meat of the game. Once you get it down it's fun and also unique that entertaining people is how to win, not fighting them. However, there are some flaws throughout. Minor ones are the voice acting and dialogue is pretty bad. Major ones are once you move on from the west, hitting the guide button can lock up the game. Auto saves don't always work so continuing from main menu may force you to replay cities. If achievements don't unlock when they're suppose to, quit to dashboard and redo their requirements. The game is fun when it all works.

Download never completed - but I got betta
The download of my purchased digital copy always stops at exactly 56.1%, 889 MB. The error code is 0x87e0000f. Troubleshooting doesn't work. Message sent to xbox support, no reply. I was really looking forward to the game. Edit - I was able to download the game today, thank you for fixing. A worthy game, no regrets.

Deserves a better score
This game is a breath of fresh air. Trust the balance, like all deck builder games it takes a bit to see improvement. Its balanced so late-game is still relevant. Once you understand the mechanics its pretty chill. TIP: Dont waste money early in the game disposing of negative affects. Early game money is hard to get, save for leveling and caravan improvements. You'll waste money 'curing' hoaxes as you'll get another hoax to replace it next match. Reviews looks like they had arough launch that killed their reviews, ive had NO performance issues. or bugs.
