Torchlight

A marvelous take on the old dungeon crawling experience. Interesting classes, great level design, and an expansive postgame, if you don't feel satisfied with the fairly standard story.

This is pretty much what happens when you "cartoonize" the first Diablo. Where the game is limited on a diverse crew of main characters (like Diablo II & III), it makes up for it in relatively simple (but deep) gameplay, a decent amount of customization, and replayability in the form of the Endless Dungeon (after completing the main story, of course). Its sequel needs to be brought to consoles, though...

I bought this game knowing that some of the original developers of Diablo 1 and 2 left Blizzard and made this game. Even the original music composer joined this project. The game play, how the skills and abilities work, and how items work are a few aspects of the game make it very similar to that of Diablo 2. I know Torchlight 2 has multiplayer and wish that would have been backward compatible as well. That's what I'm missing, otherwise pretty solid game. Thanks for at least adding this one. 🙂

This still rocks, and always will.

Great game, But plz bring torch light 2 , to the x1 that would def be worth a buy. But this is a very addictive game have fun with it all
