2D Devil May Cry rogue-lite featuring Hat Kid

Many gamers are complaining that this game is repetitive with a mindset that it should be a fast paced beat em up, finish all stages in a couple of hours and call it a day. But Tunche is not one of those games. It contains 4 areas, each one has stronger enemies and you have only one "life" to complete the whole campaign, otherwise you get transferred back to the camp and start over. The whole point is to farm orbs/coins in order to increase your character's status and gain new skills, once the specific character is maximized you can beat the campaign fairly easy with the satisfaction that your efforts are paying off. The combat system is very enjoyable, the story is well written with a charming art style and every character has its own story in comic book form. However this game is not for everyone; it's all about status progression, so for gamers who like that rpg element should give it a try.

Super fun game better with friends but didnt stop me!!

Almost didn't even give it shot based on the cover art but glad i decided to read the description. Cuz its definitely my kind of game. Old school beat em up mixed with a rogue progression system whats not to love. Haven't played that long but i can already tell its great. Its definitely a bit challenging but upgrades and practice will help. Unfortunately theres a bug that will sometimes occur that will not let u progress on the second area with the fish. Its happened to me several times now and restarting the game doesn't fix it cuz it just happens again. Basically ya kill all the enemies then it acts like u didn't so ur stuck and have to exit the game then load up ur checkpoint and kill urself so u dont lose the stuff youve gained. Hopits fixed soon cuz otherwise its a great game.
