Verlet Swing

I highly recommend Verlet Swing! If you love games that you can chill on and just listen to music or chat with your friends, this is right up your alley. If you've ever played Surf on CS:GO, Verlet Swing gives me the same vibe. You need to be smooth to go fast and its extremely satisfying. You can try to beat your fast time on each mission which is fun in its own right, that being said, I find myself just swinging around because its super fun. Hopefully they add a big open world that you can just around for as long as you'd like. $15 is a fair price point in my opinion, give it a go!

I got this game so I have something to do with my hands, when I'm chatting with friends, in that sense I got what I paid for. I enjoy the vaporwave aesthetic, the design is cool. I hope they add more levels and themes since i'm near an amature completion. An 'endless mode' would also be cool.

Movement is very fluid and dynamic, responding to how momentum is shifted and where the player is aiming while swinging. Aesthetic is surreal with vaporwave influnce in both level design and soundtrack. Difficulty is moderate until the final level which spikes significantly. Challenge modes are available for those wishing to further test their skills. Grapple implementation is exactly how I've always envisioned its execution in a game; I would recommend Verlet Swing solely on that premise

Its like a first-person spiderman meets vaporwave

Fun swing mechinics, but later levels ask for more precision than my tolerance for frustration will allow, as do the highest ratings for speed on each level. The game seems to ask more of you than is reasonable, so I'll probably never get to play the last few levels, unless I'm willing to risk breaking my controller out of frustration. But enjoyable overall for a guy whose favorite mode of transportation in games is swinging. I think this is the first time I've done it in first person, so points for making it work well, but minus one point for some of the too-tight obstacles. From the trailer I was expecting a more chill experience, though I did enjoy the visual design, again until the end where things took a darker turn. Would still recommend.
