Victor Vran Overkill Edition

Good fun so far, but it keeps freezing or stuttering after 10-30 minutes of gameplay. I really recommend the game once it's patched, though. Posting here in the hope that devs will notice as I can't find any way to report bugs.

I'm old, so to me this feels like ps2 Baldur's Gate with smooth framerate and graphics, way better gameplay systems, and many possible builds via unique outfit characteristics and weapon/item mechanics within a streamlined, archetypal structure that keeps my eyes from glazing over in a pedantic haze. You're already buying it aren't you? Did I mention it has Motorhead DLC? I mean, c'mon. Some negatives are: the narrator dialogue is VERY NOT GOOD. VERY NOT. The voice actor for Victor is literally the Witcher and he doesn't even try to sound different. Victor Vran is a terrible name. The menus, and especially the map, have some PC port jank and you'll need to turn the stick sensitivity down to 9 to not projectile vomit after 10 minutes. But none of that matters, it's rad and the gameplay is on point. If you think it looks interesting, you'll love it. My heart wants to give it 5 stars.

Runs smooth, good variety of fun weapon types & skills, loot and inventory systems are well made, and the customizable risk/reward "hex" mechanic allows you to tune the difficulty to your preference. Highly recommended to fans of Diablo, Sacred, Dungeon Siege, BG Dark Alliance, Van Helsing and/or any other action-RPG / dungeon crawler. Also the main character sounds like Geralt of Rivia.

Fun isometric game with a bit of combat challenge. Cool game with pretty good gear imo. Am also a Diablo 3 fan, and while the stories differ the combat is similar but with different powers mainly. Voice acting is fun mainly. At some points the writing feels stale but overall is good. I think the game is worth the price and will probably a second playthrough.

reminds me of a more difficult version of diablo. i just wish it didn't freeze all the time. otherwise i'd play it more
