Worbital

I grew up loving Worms when it came out almost 30 years ago. No game ever came close to those great memories.....until now. Worbital, despite the HORRIBLE name, is a great indie game. Once you learn the nuances, you realize what an amazing game this is. It's like a game of space chess with missles and explosions. Don't sleep on this game.

This is a really good game however nobody plays it anymore.

Fantastic and cohesive artillery game that is nearly perfect in its conceptual design. You play a planet spiraling through a solar system and try to blow up enemy planets while protecting your own. The game is physics based and you have to account for the gravitational pull of other celestial bodys. Worbital features a campaign, online and local multiplayer and solid AI with multiple difficulty settings. The real fun comes from the large amount of weapons and gadgets and how they interact with each other. You can use magnets to attract and repel shots. Create black holes, redirect asteroids and more. Planets can even become derailed, floating freely through space but can be guided using physics based weapons. If you are feeling gutsy you can even put a spike on your planet and ram another planet for massive damage. Worbital is a great game that is really cheap with very few flaws. The frame rate can dip a bit when certain weapons are used, but nothing major. Highly recomend.

Game is fun, building weapons, blowing up planets. Good variety of items. Just had a game breaking flaw, though. Won a campaign mission, but at the stats screen, continue was there and had no button for it or cursor to move to it, so progress was not made
