Yakuza: Like a Dragon Legendary Hero Edition

Normally I'm not into this type of game ,but Yakuza isnt like other games now is it. It's one of those things thats hard to describe, just PLAY IT ALREADY what are you waiting for? I give it 10 thumbs up.....seriously just play it and you will understand . Will be playing Lost and Lost judgement next cant wait I guess I like JRPG's now who knew not me and I been gaming for 40 years

It's honestly a bit sad that this game isn't on more people's radar. With a unique storyline and a diverse set of characters. Thos game keeps it fresh. From intense, serious, and even sad moments, there is enough humor to balance it all back out. One of the more interesting storyline pieces is the positive treatment toward homeless. They are not just viewed as terrible or horrible people, but thoughtful, respectful, and even stern. It's definitely a much different take. A good one.

Thanks to GamePass, I've played through all of the first six mainline games before playing Like a Dragon. I'm glad I did, because some returning characters from Yakuza 6: a Song of Life will surprise fans at certain points in the story. Like a Dragon is arguably the best in the series with some phenomenal voice work from the english voice actors. The presentation, graphics, sound, and gameplay is all on full display in Like a Dragon. You can easily plow through the content to the final chapter (ch. 15) with very little grinding. At that time, the game will open up a dungeon in which you can power level if you so choose. I followed a YouTube guide and was able to power level to 99 in just a few hours. The final assault on the Millenium Tower and the final two bosses were no threat. I'd highly recommend this game.

Love this game, AMAZING game but NOT the kind of game you pick up and immediately get into game play. There is, no joke, 2-3 hours worth of cutscenes combined with the tutorial to start this game out. You can skip it all but there is a LOT. Like 4-5 origin stories to start you out. After all that, game is one of the best and is a must play. Just know what you are walking into.

Lots of folks say this game isn't a YAKUZA game. I've never played that franchise. But this game feels like a modern day Dragon Quest game set in Japan with a mafia theme. I grew up playing Dragon Warrior on the NES and everything you like about JRPGs is present here, executed very well, even a bunch of mini games including something akin to Mario Kart. It seems to have something for everyone to enjoy. I dig it. I'm having a good time as I just got to Chapter 7. My favorite thing about the game is auto-combat, I can cook or do weightlifting and still 'play', even the cut scenes progress without having to mash the A button, so I can leave the room to do XYZ and come back ready for the next task. My only complaint? I cannot lower the SFX volume.... That's it.... I'm a happy customer over here. Well done, SEGA.
