Young Suns (Game Preview)

There isn't even a functional menu, quests, any sort of goals or progression hooks to be rightly considered "gameplay". The first 20 minutes seem so promising but after the tutorial there really isn't even enough to be considered a "game" to play. I love the art style and potential but come on, why was this even released in early access in this state? It only serves to frustrate and disappoint players potentially interested in your game!

ZERO story after the intro. ZERO explanation of game mechanics. Had to go to Reddit and find a post where a dev responded just to figure out how to get BASIC crafting mats. Had to scour the entire map to get enough mats to make the FIRST tool. Trying to get the parts to make lvl 2 materials was enough to make me give up on the game. Grinding entire planets only to get ONE of 15 items needed IS NOT FUN.

This game is so early its almost unplayable. I have put hours into the game just to find out that you can only make three items from the parts you find. I have ran into the problem where there are 2 other tools i need to make to progress, however the devs released so early the forgot the Workbench Tabs, Recipes/Blueprints, (items to make the 2 tools) and an array of upgrade mechanics to progress your game is entirely missing wouldnt play again its like getting a new car that doesnt have an engine... Pointless

So far it is an interesting space/life sim framework but it needs a bit of work, clipping geometry, lack of direction early on and sparsity of sights of interest but this is the reason for early access, or game preview status. Hope the devs go nuts with it and make it as fun as games like astroneer.

At first when I started this game I agreed with the reviews. Now its a full game so play it again
