Attack of the Earthlings
Wales Interactive · Strategy
Attack of the Earthlings combines turn-based combat and stealth in a dark comedic single player campaign, where you take control of the native alien race to defend your home world from the invading humans.
Attack of the Earthlings is a stealth turn based strategy game. Don't be sneaky and your aliens will die. The goal is to devour the humans who came to mine and ruin your planet. Each level you reach on the human ship has its own theme and different tasks to complete to beat it. Each level starts off with the matriach. With her you kill and devour humans so you can create more aliens to help. After the first level, you'll have access to three other alien types to morph your grunts into. These alien types also have upgrades to give them in between levels with earned performance points. What's nice is you can undo any upgrade if you don't like it and get something. This comes in handy as each level has different approaches to beat it, depending on which aliens you prefer to use. The humor is quite good too as the humans in charge respond to your escalating presence. Achievements are pretty decent. Some do require set ups and upgrades to unlock. AotE is fun if you're after stealth TBS.

Great Game, Short but long
A fun game, that has hours of play time but can be beaten in a day or 3. It also has almost no replayablity. I wish there was more to do. I need a sequel!

Fun turn-based game.
Great game with a few hiccups. Abilities available through the skill tree have fun impacts and are spaced out well. Spawning support characters from a central "Matriarch" adds to the sensation of being an invading alien as your forces grow while you kill your way through each stage. Fairly well balanced supports, though there were obvious stand outs.
There were a handful of standard features missing here that made planning ahead trickier than it needed to be. The game also had a nasty habit of crashing and deleting a couple saves; had to replay a couple stages because of this. Doesn't stop your progress too badly, but is annoying for sure.
