Biomutant

This game is excellent. I am sad that I am done with everything. Played it all the way through twice (new game & new game+) to experience being light and dark in nature. Big and beautiful open world with plenty of things to explore and quests to do. Would 100% recommend.

I went through the entire world and not touching the factions. And what I found was that the game was so much fun and how much you could customize your character with the different weapons and armors that you could put on and making yourself into a ninja or making yourself into a barbarian cleaving monster. It it just was so much fun. And I was sad when I hit the cap of what I could do. And then I wish that you could have DLC for this game. But it didn't come through. And that's what truly made me sad. Good games like this will never get what they truly deserve. Sequels. It reminds me of Brink.

The game was infested with bugs at launch but overtime, the deep wounds eventually healed with a few updates If some of you remember and enjoyed Mini-Ninjas for Xbox360, this single-player epic gives HARDCORE VIBES. The artstyle is vibrant and the plot is decent with excessive narration. The whole concept of creating your own quazi-primal rodent super hero, fighting swiftly tooth-n-'nail with bandits and giant monsters is undoubtedly satisfying. There is no shortage of looting and places to explore. If somehow you get bored, start over with a different class setup! 9/10 as of 2022 - would recommend

Top 5 for me on the xbox. Could do a little more with progression system. But still 5 stars for everything done right.....

The narration has hidden references to several ideas from many eras of civilization that can be surprisingly nostalgic and rewarding to discover for trivia enthusiasts. The game is completely open-world, allowing free-roaming immediately after the tutorial. The combat has issues, but not crippling issues. The crafting system is really impressive, surprisingly impressive, but not intuitive such that the depth of it would be lost to most. The crafting system augments gameplay by allowing you to craft weapons capable of dealing with very strong enemies at lower levels, incentivising crafting for exploration. A shockingly good game with minor issues.
