I cant spend $50+ easily on games, but having played the demo I knew I'd love it. Combat is rewarding and difficult, exploration is compact and rewarding, story is basic but in a good way, same with characters. Learning blueprints and forging weapons though really is the other half of it... its deep and engaging and really does reward you for taking your time to understand it while adding to the overall fun of both exploring and fighting for new materials and schematics. The tight interwoven map is reminiscent of Dark souls and Lords but the combat does set itself apart similar to how The Surge does. Fantastic game.

Absolutely love this game and this Mercury Engine is nice to look at as well.This game has great combat with vibrant,colorful visuals. I also love the BLOODY GORE during fights. This game is fun.

Not a Souls Like..and thats ok!
As a fan of ps3 dark souls 1 and 2...this isnt it. Its brilliant though!!!😊from the makers of Castlevania Lords of Shadows its alot of fun...me and the wife 100 percented the demo in between Clair Obscur intervals.. Highly recommend for 53 bucks!😁😁😁👍👍👍

Good, old school fun
The Writing and voice acting is top notch, which I appreciate this day in age, considering the trash out there.The gameplay and fighting are smooth and remind me of ARPGs of the 360 era..no RT spamming here..using the buttons instead of the trigger allows for more cutom fight styles and combos. ... All in all, so far, Im enjoying it.
