Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

Created and released as a prequal to Koji Igarashi's BS Ritual of the Night. This game hits anyone in the feels that enjoys a good gothic artstyle retro game. RETRO fans add this to your collection. You will find something from all of Koji's legacy in here. To include all Retro classics, Getsu Fuma Den, Castlevania, Metroid & Megaman. PLEASE KNOW YOUR HISTORY before you review. Megaman came after it all. Dont call this JUST a Megaman game.

This is an incredibly good Castlevania homage that would be a steal at twice the price. I unfortunately can't in good faith rate it 5/5 since not one but TWO of the endings are glitched and just display a black screen until the credits start rolling. This huge problem has gone unpatched for over six months now.

This sort of fanservice needs encouragement. Plus it's a great game. 10 bucks is a steal considering it would have cost 35 thirty years ago.

This is exactly what Castlevania fans have wanted for years and Konami has failed to deliver. Similar to the NES classic Castlevania 3. You control 4 different characters each with their own strengths and abilities. To add to the replayability you can sacrifice them to get new powers, add them as an ally or just leave them alone. This changes the difficulty, path you can take and ending. This game is not to be missed!

As someone who loved and beat the original Castlevania NES trilogy, I find this game to be amazing. It's a bit more forgiving than the NES era Castlevania games, but nevertheless it's a perfect homage. BUY THIS GAME!
