Borderlands4 Super Deluxe Edition

Fantastic gameplay. From an og retrospect, it brings in quirky elements we know from BL1&2. Its open world, and genuinely an upgrade from what we got in 3, let alone the older titles, too. Runs great, havent had any stutters or crashes! But im like 6 hours in pre-review. Is it worth 70USD? yes and no. No bc we all know why. But its still a very well thoughtout project and im okay with the extra 10USD for skins. However, i bid that deluxe and super deluxe are NOT worth their prices. Thanks, but no thanks, Randy. Anyways, if youre a fan, you'll like it. And if you enjoyed Halo Inf's campaign you'll like this fs. Very toned down if we compare but its fun. Very fun. The gameplay is what you'd expect from a Borderlands game, if you're looking for more of the same then it delivers well but even 20 levels in I'd hoped to start seeing some of the crazy part combos (which I haven't, hoping I don't have to wait till endgame for it), I am happy the Hunters have more interaction and their dialogue is hilarious although I'm disappointed in the lack of body customization, there are plenty of bugs that range in severity (including but not limited to weapon images not loading in the inventory, had a grapple spot not register when in range, and certain challenges not completing with my own example being Amons War Forged challenge where you have 4 drones active at once which I have done many times), but my biggest issue is the price gouging of dlc when separate from the bundles almost doubling the price if you're not a die hard fan willing to immediately buy the $130 bundle. Between the pricing and gameplay issues I can't say it's worth getting ATM, wait a bit.

After Tiny Tinas idk why i bought this.. Been a decline to a certain death. OG team from 1&2 left and ive had to watch one of my favorite childhood titles crumble into a soulless, painfully unfunny, and unimaginitive mess we have now. No TVHM, not that id be inclined to beat it again anyways, no raids, no funny references like the sewer rats or raakman, and certainly no handsome jack or even a close runnerup. Id prefer the cringetwins over this wannabe ubisoft bs. Like 7 enemy types throughout the world, soft characters/sidequests like a heist for shampoo... Gag me. The punk edgey game we knew dead and gone, the devs and lead couldnt stay true to its roots, time to dig out the tree and let it rot rather than plucking off half grown sour fruit... Goodbye BorderLands, time to let you go.

I've been playing since BL1. I've got more time in BL2 than any game I've ever played. This game is just boring. I've tried to like it, and have played 3 toons to UVH6, but it's just a dull game. I started Space Marine II and couldn't be happier. Gearbox has lost their magic.
