Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling

Despite initially appearing as a paper mario ripoff, this game sets itself apart as its own unique experience. The combat system is fun and intuitive, the medals allow for tons of different strategies, each of your party members has a different "rock paper scissors" counter to certain enemy types, and you have a choice of hard mode for more rewards but greater challenge. Fantastic soundtrack as well; just full of bangers. The characters are charming and full of personality, and the writing is great. 9/10, maybe even 10/10 game.

For the Fans of Paper Mario for sure. I have finished the game 100%, Roughly 60 hours in it, and enjoyed every second while playing. This game has a way of connecting with it's players, each chapter is engaging and fun to play, and the soundtrack is a BOP (especially the first boss's music!). I encourage everyone to give it a try, ESPECIALLY you paper mario fans out there! I am sad regarding it's removal from gamepass... But for those wondering, it is DEFINITELY worth the purchase. It has the nostalgic adventure you're looking for. Trust me.

Id pay $50-60 for a sequel, maybe they go into a forest or city

The game is under-rated in all regards. Looks simple, but is way more. Comes out as a ripoff esc type game, it is not. Turn based RPG with a cute twist. Surprisingly challenging too. The game is pretty long if you experience everything the game has to offer: Grinding, Hunting Bosses, Card. Games, Recipe making, etc. Honestly worth the price.

I had fun time with this game . Story and gameplay are great . Hope they make a sequel or a kickstarter soon.
