I've played every entry in the series and this one by the Dead Cells devs feels just as much a Castlevania game as any other. The Arcana motif for powers is interesting and as you prgress and learn more about each one I found it enjoyable, if not challenging to unlock each upgrade. Bosses are not a cake walk, but can be defeated once you figure out how they tick. And of course it isn't Castlevania without the chicken roast in the wall, which there are plenty hidden thoughout the game.

Visual Noise Tip
This isnt a spam attack game. You actually need to respect the enemies and learn movesets. After you get in that flow the game is very satisfying.
