Caverns of Mars: Recharged

I never played the original version of this, giving it a try because, well I like most of the games made by ATARI old and new...it's pretty good it takes time to get used to how it plays it's not a typical shmup, it's a lot like GRAVITAR in that it has a steep learning curve, you gotta have a lot of patience and pretty decent reflexes to master the game, but when u get the hang of it you'll appreciate how fun and unique it really is

Practice makes perfect

Most of these young Xbox whippersnappers have probably never even heard of the 2600 original, and even less of them have played it. This is a solid reimagining of Caverns of Mars that expands upon that original framework, while keeping the familiar gameplay loop mostly intact. The Atari Recharged series is a real treat, and this is one of the better offerings from that bunch 😎👌

Never played the original, but this game looks and plays like a newgrounds flash game you can play for free. Watching a video of the old Atari game, this reboot isn't anything like it either. The original id call a vertical scrolling version of konami's scramble; a shooter. This reboot is more of a physics based falling game where you shoot to slow down and sometimes shoot enemies. Wtf?!?

Worst waste of money. Super lame "recharged" are never worth headache of dumbness.
