Dark Burial: Enhanced Edition

Dark Burial is niche But, it will appeal to Retro fans and Achievement junkies! The look & feel itself is truly 1986 (if you told me this was a lost Apple2 PC game i'd believe you) it mimics that point & time flawlessly imo. (i gave it a extra star for that alone) Your age & life experience will also tie into the value of this particular release! The TikTok© generation is to vapid to put this game over 🤦‍♂️ (the only negative the controls are funky (i'm guessing this is a PC port/conversion it was never adjust for a controller (not game breaking but, jarring to say the least! For the achievement junkies in less then 15-18min. You'll get a shiny new 1k boost (Not much of a dopamine rush you can always take a tequila shot with each achievement that pops! Good times 😜😁😁😜

I don’t know what’s with some of these other reviews: as if they expected a $5 game to be as good as Mario, or they simply are terrible at a platform game that can be beat in an hour. This game is fun and quick, and the difficulty is moderate at best. Easy 2000 gamerscore

I'm not understanding the criticisms. It's a $5 game that goes on sale often for $3 or less. It's attractive pixel art with a large color palette. The game mechanics are enjoyable and it's a 45 minute completion for an easy 2k gamerscore. It's not frustrating. It's just a relaxing way to burn an hour.

Nice retro aesthetic with some decent level design, its fun swiftly moving through the levels with your crossbow as your only tool. The hardest part of the game is learning to time your crossbow shots, once you get a feel for it the game isn't all that challenging. Some ok enemy design but the game could use more enemies in each level and slightly harder bosses. A little on the shorter side once you get the hang of it, about an hour or so. Easy achievements. **Product received for free**

This seems like the studios 1st or 2nd project. It's good, no bugs...just straight forward game mechanics, albeit there is just a hand full. Good job dude
