Way less tedious than the original, but much easier.
I beat it in probably six or seven hours and I wasn’t even rushing. I had a good time but I thought the deluxe version would have more than a few in game tiny side quests. I recommend it for people who like these games, but if you played the original prepare to blaze through it.

Short for a Frogwares game, but solid.
This is a top to bottom remake of an older version including new voice work and story elements. If you are familiar with the previous Holmes games you know what to expect. Slow exploration and deduction. Great atmosphere and very well told. The project was a quickly made kickstarter thing intended to keep Frogwares going during the Russo-Ukranian war until they can work on other projects. Good stuff.
