Double Kick Heroes

The music is good, the animations and details on the map and in the safe houses are beautiful, but I literally go blind playing because of the placement and size of the music bar. It's hard to play and feel like I'm having fun when the timing isn't synced with the beats I am pressing, the levels and difficulty aren't balanced. Overall I could keep going on. I was able to play this game for free, I wouldn't not buy this full price sadly. Just the music and the look of the game are the selling points for me.

Game has a cool art style along with funny characters and great music. Story is eh, but easy to follow. What I don't like is the basic controls that I ended up changing when grenades were introduced. Also, some songs halfway through the game onwards require A LOT of mashing. The game then punishes and scolds you for going too fast by stopping you from hitting notes when enemies are literally on your tail. Lastly, you can be at the end of the song as music fades on your last life with no notes and a stray enemy can STILL KILL YOU. I don't play as much rhythm games as I used to, but all those things see pretty unfair. Hitboxes on a lot of enemies also needs work. Other than that, game is fun for those out there who love their Metal Music. Of course, not every game is for everyone. But I advise people to try this out, it's not bad.

I decided to give it a try, i figured I would play for a few mins, just to try. I was pleasantly suprised. Those few minutes turned into 3 hours and counting. The 1st Hero you meet is Marlene Branson, from there I was hooked, the small Easter eggs were Awsome. If you know what I mean and your a fan of MM, youll get it.. Awsome Stuff! Other great characters that I Instantly knew who they were portraying...Sweet

Great game, awesome music!

Cool game but kills my eyes
