EASY YES
Defending Omaha Beach in an MG bunker and suddenly heard English. Never been so terrified to hear my language.
What you're getting:
- Inventory management
- Weapon sighting
- Squad mechanics (more in-depth than Enlisted)
- Surprisingly competent AI
- Wounded soldier carry mechanics
- Surrendering AI (WAR CRIMES!!!)
- Decent gore
- Set number and difficulty of bots pre-match
- Excellent variety of lesser and well-known fronts
- MG-42 barrel change
- ERIKA
- Maybe some slight PTSD
That being said this is still an indie game and it comes with some jank; the most glaring of which is the inventory menu randomly taking you back to the top. What it's aiming to do is capture the replayability feel of sandbox shooters from the early 2000s and add some basic milsim mechanics. This is definitely a diamond in the rough. I've got quite a few hours of playtime in this through Steam and it's by no means a bad port. If you're a WWII buff, I certainly recommend it.

Small devs derserve love
Between the enlisted-ish ai squad style and full freedom map and mission creator this is becoming one of my favorite ww2 shooters. If you're tired of sweaty triple a shooters try it out, it costs less than a skin in cod and the normandy dlc is amazing.

$30 game masquerading as a $9 game.
Make no mistake, at this price you're basically stealing from this poor dev. Four base campaigns with both an attacking and defending side, slow and immersive gameplay, adjustable difficulty and bot count, a map and mission editor, satisfying gunplay, content-rich DLC at reasonable prices(again, a total steal), and NO MICROTRANSACTIONS or goofy nonsense. There's some jank with animations and a few bugs, but nothing crippling or insurmountable.
Oh, and free updates, including a full Tunisia campaign later this year. Why are you still here? BUY IT.
