Echoes of the Plum Grove

EDIT BELOW. Crashes, freezing and saves erased almost to the point of being unplayable. Was really excited for this release on Xbox but I'll keep an eye out for updates Edit------ The update seems to have fixed the issues that I was having. Kudos to the two person dev team putting in work.

Freezing has been fixed for me, no issues there like were on launch. There's an incredible farm sim here with new ideas for the genre. There's the usual fishing, farming, foraging, cooking, and mining, but the atmosphere feels more serious, and the early game presents the idea of sickness and death. The player's energy isn't something that is a major focus, which is a breath of fresh air. The game offers some challenges such as hunger and tools that lose durability, these have been placed a way that isn't too intrusive, at least for now. Contrasting the atmosphere, the game's art style is breezy and fun, reminding me of Paper Mario. If you're even somewhat of a farm sim fan, I'd recommend checking this out.

*updated* It was pretty bugged, but the devs seemed to have worked most of it out!😁🙌 SAVE OFTEN. Getting kicked is still an issue Crashes with achievements, Kicks you randomly, and forces a new game🥲...Please move The, "New game" button from the in-game menu. The highlight courser is almost completely transparent, so its hard tell what you're selecting most of the time. All in all, I really enjoy this game on other platforms❤️, but this is almost unplayable as is. I'm hoping it will get fixed soon because its such a fun, cute and cozy game that has a unique story. I'll update once it's all sorted out😊

I bought this game on sale because I liked the art style. This game is so addictive and immersive! A mixture between Animal Crossing and Sims. This game has also helped my anxiety a ton!
