Epic Chef

I really enjoy this game. Cooking, farming, quest driven game with a lot of humor. Has some grind to it but it makes sense, may not be for everyone but think this game is underrated. I’ve played the game through a few times and just really enjoy it.

Lots of running back and forth. Just okay game. The cooking part is enjoyable, dialogue can be amusing but VERY long winded. Lots of collect and turn in quests. I enjoy other similar games more, like stardew or graveyard keeper. This doesn't have an energy cap on actions though! I played on free play with gold days, so I didn't spend money on it. I wouldn't pay more than $10 with how short the game is though.

With about 30 hours played I will say it's definitely rough around the edges. However hidden here is a decently enjoyable cooking game. The biggest issue for me personally would be the repetition. This is definitely a game meant for bite sizes sessions and not to dump tons of hours in all at once. The cooking will get much better the later on you get requiring more strategy with what ingredients should be used and when with certain ingredients combining with specific others at the right times to give good bonuses to your dishes score. I recommend picking it up on sale though if the trial interested you for the short time you'll have to try the game.

I played the 60 minute free trial but bought it 15 minutes in. I usually skip dialogue at the start of games to get to the gameplay ASAP because the demo is time limited & gameplay is the biggest factor in determining whether or not I'll like it and buy it.. oddly it was the dry dark humor dialogue that made me purchase it. The only negative so far is that I hate that I can't save anytime I want. Other than that I have no complaints.

Fun little cooking adventure game
