Evoland Legendary Edition

Simply amazing. They better make evoland 3

Rarely do I buy the same game on multiple platforms. However, Evolandia is one such game. I played both Evoland 1 and 2 on PC and immediately purchased them when they came out on Xbox One. If you like old school RPGs then this game is for you! The game is brilliant and takes you on a nostalgia trip through RPG video game history. I highly recommend! 5/5 stars, buy this game!

I was a big fan of the original when it came out but for some reason never got around to play Evoland 2. Now that this edition was just released I have fallen in love with it all over again and am thoroughly enjoying the sequel for the first time! I’d recommend this to any gamer that loves RPGs, it is so much fun and has quite a bit of charming humor. Highly recommended!

I played this on the phone and the only downside was having to use touch controls. I can't wait to play this with a controler. The game play and story are decent. Its the traveling through different game styles and graphics that makes this game a real gem. Give it some time before judging it and you will see exactly what I'm talking about.

So I have always liked Evoland way back when it first released as you went through the ages from nes to snes to PSX gameplay elements. That's worth half the price tag of the game alone. Then Evoland 2 I hadn't played and it was amazing as well. The 2 games are primarily Action RPGs with leveling and equipment upgrading but there are also a ton of other sections like the bullet hell, beat em' up Streets of Rage style, puzzle platformers, puzzle games from Gems of War, and a really good story that had me thinking of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy all the way through. There are refferences all over the place in bolth games, number 2 even has a reference to 1 at the beginning in the well of the starter village. Achievements aren't too grindy as before I got the grind stick out after collecting all the cards and stars I was level 27 and only had to beat down on a bunch of pirates 3 times. Great set of games to take a week of attention. My total completion time was just under 25 hours
