A very fun pixel art 2d side scroller, but one that requires you to take your time. I can see people getting frustrated because death comes fast in this game. Having a blast with it . I was making a jump , was hit in mid air and droped into a pit (thought I had died) and all of a sudden I am in a new level. Very cool if you give it a chance.

I have a sneaking feeling Heideberg 1693 will fly under the radar! Mostly due to it being way "too different" it's presented like a mix between a SegaCD game and the original Prince of Persia! The gameplay will be divisive you are playing a retro action platformer set in 1693 the weapon combat isn't bad just very authentic to the time period so you have to die a few times to create the proper strategy (it mirrors a lot of the pros and cons of Prince of Persia) i'll actually give it very high marks for using Horror/Zombies in a very refreshing new way.... Hopefully people give it a chance its without a doubt a real top tier budget release ☮️☯️☮️

Difficult but a Masterpiece 5\5
Extremely hard game but a gorgeous work of art. Only recommendation to the devs are to stop spamming invincible goat\medusa heads with swords. This really kills an otherwise 5\5 game.

Fun for a time, then just annoying.
Fun but gameplay is marred by very poor decisions on the creators' part. Whoever thought having an invincible floating head pursue you in nearly every level (that also happens to have multiple attacks that essentially kill in one hit and can randomly fly to your exact location) needs to removed from level designing. It's faux hard. There's no strategy in something like this and it utterly robs the experience of trying to appreciate the art\distinct levels. It's also odd to have three hearts for health (extremely rare, you can get a temp fourth), but almost all enemies kill in two hits... So having one health is equvalent to having two health. Most of the later levels just overload the screen in enemies, explosions and that dang floating head that can also respawn enemies. The little story there is, is also conveyed horribly and written in a poorly cryptic (albeit purposeful) way that comes off like an incomplete first draft. The developers have potential though.
