Hell Pie

Definately have not seen M rated collect-a-thon since conker. I love it just dives into the fact its in poor taste (hence Nate). It lacks its own identity unfair compairing to iconic games, however its memorable as an experience. Definately comfortable expressing its dark gross out humor rarely seen for the genre. Most you'll see back then is a hard T rating trying to outdo the 'tude of psone like voodoo vince or whiplash. Fun to chain grapples feel like it undoes the obstacles of level design. Still a unique experience

Hell pie has humor that isn't for everyone but it hardly matters, because the amazing gameplay and unique setting is more than enough to make it one of my new favorite games. Sadly, right now there are a few bugs stopping me and others from getting every collectible but I'm hopeful those bugs will be fixed. If you're a fan of classic 3D-Platformers don't even hesitate to get this game. If the bugs get fixed Hell Pie is easily a 10/10

This reminds me of Conker's bad fur day!! The humor is outstanding, great game!

If you can handle the framerate drops, it can be pretty fun. Short game, finished it in about 6 hours, maybe less. Can be frustrating sometimes, but the platforming and combat is very easy. Tons of glitches, be prepared to restart the game to fix them.

Not a bad 3D platformer: lots of traversal options, very little story just straight gameplay like I enjoy. The issue is the bugs and uneven framerate. Ran into a bug in the second area where the platforms I needed to complete the level just didn't load in. Looked it up online (which I should never have to do) and it's a known issue they just never bothered to fix. That's just one example. Also, on a Series X the framerate is a far cry from a smooth 60 fps. You can easily see the hitching when spinning the camera around. Wanted to love this one but I got it on sale at 50% off and still can't recommend at that price. If you ever see it for $7.50 or less, then that's the price I feel it's worth it. It's a shame, since I enjoyed the humor and setting, but this pie needed a bit more time in the oven.
