King of Seas

Casual player here, fun game but controls are a bit janky. If you sink you respawn at your base at the top of the map when everything is at the bottom. No fast ravel

can someone explain why my 10 guns on my brig are better than my 30 on my galleon? literally what the hell? i was hitting big numbers on my brig and only slightly bigger numbers on my galleon TWENTY MORE GUNS SHOULD NOT BE ONLY A SLIGHT INCREASE ESPECIALLY SINCE IM SO MUCH SLOWER brig is best ship, faster damage is the same i dont understand this logic

So if u take black flag, scale down the graphics to something any phone or tablet could handle, scale back the ship upgrades, cut out all the shanties and the assassin stuff and keep just the ship fights. Now take whatever that is and map the controls to an n64 controller, tone back the charm and make all the enemies the same level as u so you feel like youre not progressing at all and youll have this. Its not good but its still 10x better than sea of thieves. So 3 stars for trying... To get in on an easy pirate themed cash grab. This isnt a roguelike either whoever said that i guess thinks skyrim and mario cart are roguelikes cuz this game has more in common with those than it does hadyes or redacted. U do not start a new run when u die ur levels do not reset and you keep all your items gold and currency. Smh worse than review bombing is people who think they know wth their talking about and let their idiot misinformed opinion color their review, aka, most people.
