Lake: Special Delivery

Lake is a mostly soft and gentle experience that has no combat or metal music. You deliver mail and talk to the locals for 2 weeks. The local radio can be a tiny bit repetitive, but not as bad as others say. You can turn it off with Y. If you don't like it, why'd you play it after reading the store page? Lake is sweet and has a lot of character. Sit back and relax.

I was a hardcore FPS then as I have gotten older and ultimately got tired of all the carnage, I have had started playing a more relaxing games. I just now want to chill out and relax while playing. I have collected many walking sims and this is an excellent addition because I like to free-roam. After l delivered my first package down Main St. and drove a short distance to the deer statue by the lake, I couldn't help but parked the van and started walking infront of the lake. The scenery was so beautiful and peaceful. There is this music that can comfort you after your stressful day. I sat down on a bench as birds sing some flying by while a small boat at a distance is gently rocking. I decided to walk along the lake doing deliveries later just to see if it lets me, and surely it did that I reached Mo's diner. The game has very simple controls and fluid. Unfortunately very few games are made like this, one you can really enjoy without the complexity of RPG and the stressfulness of FPS.

This is one of the most relaxing games I've ever played. A mail sim is such an original idea and the story and characters make you care about the job. The voice actors all do a great job and the graphics are the perfect balance of detailed but not overstimulating. The only thing that could be better is the story is too short and could use more content, but that's forgiveable for a small indie studio. I can't wait to see what the creators make next, we need more slice of life RPGs.

Very laid back game that has a decent story. Not too in depth but enough to keep you invested. Charcters carry the story and it has multiple outcomes. Play this at the end of a long day for the best experience.

I wish this game was longer! It was good to me from start to finish. I wish you could continue to deliver mail and continuously interact with NPCs with more life events. This was so fun and relaxing! Please, another part. Please dont stop here.
