Martha Is Dead Digital Deluxe

The story told by this game is, admittedly, quite graphic. But that is because it includes mature subjects addressed in a mature way. It is a powerful narrative that will remain in your mind for a long time. Highly recommend, and stay safe out there y'all.

Sony censored this game on PS4/PS5, while both PC and Xbox let the ESRB do it's job as it should be! Sony are hypocritics.... Last of Us 2 had a torture scene with shocking amount of gory detail.... But this is where we draw the arbitrary line? Support creative freedom!!

The horror in MiD is present from the start, but builds constantly throughout and left my wife and I feeling uneasy even during daytime segments. The horror feels real and not too Hollywood. You can skip the most disturbing scenes if you'd like, but we recommend them as we're fairly desensitized and have seen worse, plus they do add to the story. Also this is a the best photographer simulator I've ever played. They really give you everything for it. Finally, the 1940's European aesthetic made it that much creepier. Highly recommend

Gameplay wise, its a bit rough around the edges, but the story makes for it. I liken it to something like Martyrs: French horror that was pushing the boundaries of acceptable violence but also didnt have the biggest budget. Worth a playthrough. Playing in Italin is a plus.

This game is gorgeous and such a dynamic story. Early in the game I couldn't load any save beginning at chapter four, so I had to start over. Any time the game auto-saved I manually saved over it. That solved my loading issues. Glad I gave the game another chance. The story and visuals are brilliant.
