Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse

It's good! Having fun running around. It's like deadcells and the mechanics are neat. The areas are very unique as well. Also mthe house I built may have no door but I have so many plant decorations!!

First guy apparently doesn't understand what a roguelite is, which the game is clearly advertised as. For some reason MY review gets removed, but his clueless review-bomb gets to stay up. I'll just write it again. PROS: Great level design and challenging platforming, engaging combat, straightforward progression, cute character animations, unique art style, atmospheric music sets the mood, and customize your village. Tons of fun. CONS: Two artifacts used to access secret areas aren't obtained until the endgame, which is frustrating because you're basically in cleanup by then and they would have been fun to play with sooner. Online co-op is competitive, powerups are not shared, which kinda kills the fun because it encourages moving fast and grabbing things before the other player. PRO TIP: You can hit things in your village to make their timer go faster.

Veterans play on very hard difficulty thats what im doing and im loving it so far

BE CAREFUL BOSSES FLASH A BRIGHT WHITE WHEN HIT!!! most bosses take up a lot of the arena which makes it worse thats the downside. They need to add a toggle for it and there's no brightness setting either. I'll admit the main character has a really cute design and the animations are too.

This game has more in common with an extraction shooter than a metroidvania. You're just doing the same exact thing over and over again and it gets old really fast. Save your money for something that has more substance.
