Observer: System Redux

I was a fan of the originally 8th gen version which I loved despite performance flaws. Bought this version at launch and there were performance issues and ray tracing wasn't present, but to date they have done an excellent job on implementing RT and I no longer have to dial down graphics for stable performance. Graphics settings in early patches had options to turn off 4K, chromatic aberration, ray tracing, dynamic resolution, but now things are pretty solid and there's no need to compromise. Anyhow, remarkable game, to say the least.

What another incredible journey from Bloober. The ambiance of this game is truly incredible for those who enjoy cyberpunk. To be graced by Rutger Hauer is a cherry on top.

Blade Runner meets Se7en and The Cell.

The word "underrated" is thrown around far too often these days but believe me when I say it describes this game perfectly. Rarely do you find a piece of fiction that manages to weave futuristic scifi with a dark & gritty world in such an engrossing way while still feeling unique. We tend to take these things for granted but these developers deserve way more credit for creating something that could have gone wrong very easily. If you're as much a fan of Blade Runner as myself & were let down by Night City's spotless, clean & prestine look (and you're able to reel in your map size expectations) then you should buy this game because even at full price Observer feels like a bargain. The explorable areas aren't too big or too small but the story, characters and world drew me in so much more because it focuses only on whats needed to keep the player engaged & having a blast. ―――――――――――――― RIP - Rutger Hauer

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Rest in peace, Rutger Hauer
