Killer Ton of fun

Never played the original, bought this blindly cuz I'm a sucker for shmups...it's actually pretty awesome, fun and challenging, a lot like R-TYPE so if ur familiar with that franchise then you'll feel right at home with RIGID FORCE...just like R-TYPE you will contend with navigating tight spaces on top of dodging enemy fire, however the level of difficulty this game throws at you is a bit more forgiving than a standard R-TYPE style... My only complaint for this game is the choices for weapons and abilities are quite limited, and each of the three game modes all play relatively the same, but it's still a load of fun playing through each level and figuring out a strategy for each of the unique and somewhat zany bosses, the most memorable boss for me is level 4 or 5...you have you to fight this giant mutant plant that reminds me of something straight from "Little Shop of Horrors" all in all RIGID FORCE delivers a solid fun and challenging shmup worth a few playthroughs
