River City Girls Zero

Its great to have this port to get a better appreciation for the River City Girls characters from their retro roots. This port's added features breath some new life into the game. The core game is pretty average by retro beat-em up standards. Its nice that it has more of a story element to it compared to other retro games of the genre. The Normal Difficulty is fairly challenging, fortunately the challenge rating drops a lot on Easy. Easy achievements.

The CRT filter is horrible, and the audio cracks sometimes, but I'm just glad it's here. Great game.

I was a child in the '80s and still am. Glad to see this released

Never would have thought it be re released on modern consoles. You get bonus material like box art & such. Have the Kunio Kun world collection for XB had to order it off eBay since it was never release for US. Unfortunately it's region free. I suggest getting that if your a Kunio fan. Would like to see the Kunio baseball and Nekketsu super AKA Super River City Ransom added to modern consoles that was originally for the Super Famicom. Anyways I'm just thankful that this now available on modern platforms. For those who play the modern river city girls. If you never played the true original games that started the series. Umm... Well you're probably not going to like this as much. Me, i rather play the classics anyday over the modern games.

Great game but wish you could skip dialogue with a single button.
