Saint Kotar

Saint Kotar sets up a pretty interesting narrative, with a number of eerie/quirky interactions with some of the residents of the town. The graphics weren't anything mind blowing but some of the landscape backdrops looked pretty good, and the game does have an optional black & white filter that suits the game well. The story starts out interesting, but the ending story elements were anticlimactic, maybe the free DLC will change that. Decent point and click game overall, but maybe a little pricey

At the beginning you have a choice. If you make the wrong one it appears to end the game. I was curious what a $.99 game looked like. It looks like an updated version of the dawn on video games. I doubt I'll finish it but the story is creepy enough to entertain you short term. It's worth the money just don't expect Bauldurs Gate 3.

This game has an interesting premise, but the writing is very poorly done (or the localization - both could be contributing factors), the voice acting isn't very well done either, and the control scheme employed for interacting with points of interest feels unintuitive and needlessly complex. (Why can't we just walk up to objects and click on them?) The result of all this is a very shaky foundation for a game that's built on the pillars of adventure game exploration and narrative. I applaud the developers for creating and releasing this game. That's a lot of hard work. But unfortunately, playing it was not a great experience for me.

I actually really enjoyed everything up until the end. I can't believe thats how it played out. Just finished it and still scratching my head. I don't think this game should be worth more than $20. Starts out promising then slowly goes off the rails. Damned Crows!!!

Story made very little sense. It was creepy and gory and Lovecraftian, but had no cohesion. Your choices are irrelevant save for unlocking achievements. Short game too. Dont pay more than 5.99. Full price of $35 is an insult to the gaming world.
