It takes inspiration from the past, while still retaining its own identity. Story is really good, characters seem to have some life to them, and what RPG wouldn't be complete without sidequest?
The music!, I catch myself not doing anything just to listen to the amazing music, boss music sets the stage perfectly.
This team understands what works, and has made this 42yo gamer feel like a kid in the 90's again.

Hits the spot in all the right spots
Played a lot of RPGs growing up and this one gave serious nostalgia. Pretty reminiscent of Lunar Silver Star Story(PS) Illusion of Gaia(SNES) and Breath of Fire(SNES) as well. Oo and i almost forgot to mention the music! Straight butter🧈Really happy with this one!😁
