STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN Digital Deluxe Edition

I came to kill chaos, I'd say I got my moneys worth.

First to those complaining about how mismatched gear looks = you must not realize that you can save presets of gear as appearance set and use that over another preset. I figured this out just a few hrs in.😒 I'll preface my review with the fact I actually like turn based combat and the previous ATB systems of FF so I was a bit skeptical about full action. But they pull it off well and you need to be fairly precise and understand the mechanics as button mashing usually gets you in hot water. I will update later when I get farther in but very pleased so far. Wish you could swap the controlled character though or let the allies learn different jobs.

Final Fantasy action RPG from Team Ninja with 3-player co-op? why didn't anyone tell me about this game? it's incredibly fun especially with friends.

I held off on this game and finally bought it on sale. Im loving it. The clashing serious themes and the main character ranting about chaos had me in stitches. The combat is the reason to buy, very tight controls. Diablo levels of loot (600 inventory slots!). Coop works great no lag. Play on hard for better loot

I waited a while to get this. I played the demo and it was ok. First thought was how linear it was which it definitely is. After my purchase for the first hour FF ORIGIN felt confusingly dull. Decided to keep going and though admittingly there is a deeper learning curve than most games It grew on me. It takes a while to learn just how different you play each job/class. It feels like alot but it's worth it. Armor looks great, yes you can save a set for appearance in the Battlee Preset menu. Theres a huge difference in magic jobs and melee jobs too. The characters and story are prettty welll done. Jack really is unique to FF. The music is catchy and harder than FF traditional tunes. The talk system is mostly a waste of time though, but not for the main cast so don't ignore it. ORIGIN is a dungeon crawler SQUARE classic Final Fantasy disguised as a new SQUARE ENIX Final Fantasy with Soulslike gameplay inspiration. I didnt care for it but now I really do, but it's not for everybody.
