Super Blood Hockey

This is a magnificant recreation of the original NES hockey. Beautifully executed. The tutorial provides some good humor too. I am not always a fan of retro remakes, as they've become cliche, but many 8 and 16 bit sports games, have timeless mechanics. Simple, fun, and easy to get into. This begs for online play though. Not enough classic sports games can be played online.

90's NHL game nostalgia fuels this over the top gore fest. Perfectly captures the feel of a generation of hockey games. Buy this game for that, keep playing because of the franchise mode. Few improvements could be made, but it would be more efficient to tailor those into what I hope will be Super Blood Hockey II. (Or even cooler a variety of Super Blood Sports games. Wrestling, Football, Basketball, etc.) If you can't score... "git gud." Even my casual plebe hands can get goals... Are you really going to be outdone by a loser like me?

If you loved Ice Hockey on the NES this is like a far more in depth and chaotic version of it.

Most fun I've had playing a hockey game since nhl 94. Perfect for couch co-op, easy to pick up, and pretty funny as well. Easily worth the price

Like everybody else has already said, it's NES Ice Hockey on some type of narcotic (crack, meth, etc.). Speaking of drugs, you can buy them to give to the players on your team.
