Surf World Series

This game totally hits the best part of feels that I have for surfing. The developers obviously have love for the sport and culuture, just as games like SKATE, AMPED, STEEP, and others had for their respective sport cultures and influences. If you have ever surfed and liked what you felt, try this game out. I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up digging it too.

I played the demo, then bought the game. The surfing is fun, and really easy to get into once you understand the controls. There many sites to surf with great variety of wave types, and environments with different times of the day. This game has great options for customizing your outfits, and boards, plus many ways to play co-op , and events to enter also has free surfing any of different location sites. The game really is a good surfing game , there are many surfing tricks you can do besides the set tricks which makes it feel like you are riding a real wave. The developers did a great job of capturing different wave types with a great look,and feel while you are surfing the wave. The game has a great surf school to teach you all the basic, and advance moves.... which helps a lot to learn the controls. Overall the game feels like you are surfing, and you will be pulling off trick combos with ease. It would be great to have a surf game like Skate, but Surf fills the void until then.

The controls to do tricks is absolutly horrible. They tried too hard to make it complicated. There is no flow. And honestly I feel you should at least have an option to change the steering controls to inverted because it feels backwards. And why am i playing this game to just unlock clothes. Why am i not unlocking mew surf spots. And every wave is the same.

this game is a ton of fun. it took some getting used to the controls but after playing for almost a week its easily my go to game to just chill and have fun. the soundtrack is awesome too.

Settings>Device&Connections>Accessories. THEN SET YOUR CONTROLLER THE WAY YOU WANT TO PLAY....DUH!
