SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection Deluxe Edition

1st great story every engaging but sadly no new game plus. 2nd the new sao girl Dorothy easily slides into second place behind Sinon for character design and personality. 3rd love the simplified combat though with how much health enemies have its not uncommon to get hand cramps because of simple repeated motion of pressing X. 4th the main reason this isn't 5 stars the customization of outfits are very limited. As the 7th game of the series and the 3rd one to release on Xbox id place it 4th best overall behind 1fatal bullet 2accel world vs sao and 3sao hollow realization. It's definitely 2nd on Xbox with there only being 3 options right now not as good as Fatal bullet and as Lycoris currently wins in customization Last Recollection's story is x10 better. I completed the campaign at around 50 hours at lvl 35. I hope this helps your decision

Let me start saying I really want to give this a 5 star. The game is night and day compared to Alicization Lycoris runs so much better and everything feels smooth. However the person who made the decision to remove free roam multiplayer should be exiled from the company immediately. My friends and I were looking forward to roaming the Dark Territory together but instead we’re stuck in a room fighting a boss. Drastic step back from AL, just makes you wonder what they were thinking when writing the code for this. If somehow freeroam multiplayer gets added I will bump it to a 5 but they are not worthy of a 5 atm.

The story and gameplay is good for a sao game similar to lycoric, how ever if u were looking to have a game to play/grind with ur friends dont waste ur money. The multiplayer is horrible there's no free roam or any exploration at all. You join ur friend get put in a room and fight old bosses u have already discovered, Huge Disappointment. If u like solo its a good game. On the other hand if u like co op u will be crying yourself to sleep 1/10 experience

Did enjoy the story. Also like the anime, stories are very different, here they are willing to cooperate while the other was a full on bloodbath where they just plain killed the **** out of each other. Didn't mind that it wasn't dubbed, though if it ever does happen would definitely lure me in for a second playthrough. My only gripe is a lot of fights seem to just drag on for too long, usually halfway through the fight, I'll get a little bored and my mind will wander. I had fun though

Combat feels better, but unlike the last game, you can't continue Skill Connect off of basic attack skills and have more control over your party, until your ally gauge runs out. They also made builds less unique by completely removing the ability to choose 4 passives and instead have weaker passives that's only available to certain classes. You do have the choice of swapping weapons and equipment mid fight, which helps for killing bosses.
