Tacoma

While an incredibly short experience, the storytelling is excellent. The voice acting is phenomenal, and makes the game worth its price tag. The world of Tacoma is populated with small details that provide immense insights into each character, and makes exploration worth the extra time. Tacoma makes you care about the characters and their relationships. While suffering from occasional frame rate issues, and recovering from the "Press A" debacle, if you enjoy a gaming experience with great narrative, Tacoma is worth a try.

i contacted the developers via email, what they said was too hard reset your Xbox by holding down Xbox button on console. After i followed ther instructions, the game started up. give it a try ! gr8 story, left wanting more... oh yeah, the developers said they're working on a patch to fix this malfunction🚀🛰🔥💥👽🐈🌏

Tacoma is a bit of a mixed bag for me. The game is aesthetically pleasing and the voice acting is exceptional. The storyline comes together nicely through the AR sequences and is further bolstered by the additional bits and pieces of character development scattered throught the station. I liked that there is a certain amount of mystery surrounding your entire experience on Tacoma that consistently held my intrigue as well. The problem I have with the game is somewhere in the execution. Though the character development and plot was sound, my journey through the story of Tacoma felt overwhelmingly uninspired. Never did anything exciting or emotionally engaging ever happen. It never pulled at me to quest for more information or to see what was to come next. Everything was there for it to evolve into this captivating experience, yet in the end it only ended up playing out like an mildly interesting news article. Worthy of my time, yes, but not something I could fully recommend.

After a rocky start where I couldn't play the game due some weird glitch in the game. I finally have been able to complete it, it wasn't bad I enjoyed it. I only wish there was more it was to short. I enjoyed the environment and exploration I just wanted more. Very enjoyable.

This is exactly how I like my investigative story games to be. Lots and lots of story and a setting littered with supplemental lore that you can beat in a couple hours. The achievements were easy, too.
