The Blood of Dawnwalker - Eclipse Edition

Will be good with some patches. Tip for movement until devs fix: Turn controller responsiveness to 2.50-2.75 in settings. Camera will turn faster but Coen will stop during running a lot less often. Hope this helps.

Run stop run stop this is killing the immersion for me! This needs fixed asap im sure im not the only 1 experiencing this! Its like the left anaog is hyper accelerated with no option to do anything about it!

Combat is solid, story is intense and has depth. Its a true to the word open world game with little to no exceptions, save for higher level enemies who will one shot you. I played the game very frugal with my time blocks..by the end when i was ready to face the final boss i still had 10 days left over. Thats with doing a majority of all side quests and 100% completion of all major side quests. The devs put some serious love and lore into this game and it shows! ive spent maybe 70 hours in it and feel it was worth every dollar. If your a fan of open world rpg's you will not be dissapointed?

Not far in, story-wise i'm not disappointed, KCD meets the Witcher in a way that sounds as cool as it actually is, gameplay however will likely and hopefully be tweaked. SOME enemies feel unreactive to attacks, otherwise combat feels tight, you will get jumped but rarely to a ridiculous level (two or more attacking) but parries and dodges feel fair. The fair difficulty also feels as fair as it can get. TRY NOT TO CORNER YOURSELF OR THEY WILL JUMP YOU SO BAD, and you won't see indicators. Just walking and running feels horrid, slightly tilt the left stick and you're stopping on a dime immediately, it's likely do to how movement ties into combat. Actually running makes you stop constantly for some reason. Planewalking (literally walking up walls) is awesome but feels slightly jank, in fairness it works on all walls though. The facial animations/executions could use some light tweaks but they're better than most new games. BIG TAKEAWAY, really neat so far but the movement needs work

The story is very interesting. It's keeping me engaged. I can see plenty of replayability. The world is nice. Switching between human. And vampire. And throwing witchcraft in there as well its cool. The combat is very fun to play around with. It can be hard as well if not used to this Type of combat. The running is fixed Overall great game.
